Just like Hollywood’s Walk of Fame with its Stars’ stars, George Street now has its own ‘Walk of Fame’ with depictions of famous and well known Georges residing in each carpark space.
Between Cuba Street and Main Street local artist Colin Hoare has hand painted 40 portraits of Georges such as Georgia Brown, George Orwell, George Washington, and even George Jetson and George of the Jungle.
