Xindu Ecological Park is the first park in Taichung City to be built with ecological engineering methods, covering an area of about 2.5 hectares. The ecological engineering method combined with the overall greening and beautification, the river water in Babaozhen was introduced, and after purification treatment, it was discharged into the downstream ecological ditch. Koi fish are stocked for monitoring water quality and viewing purposes. Every evening, it becomes a good place for people to take a walk. Xindu Ecological Park has a stone trail-like installation on the lake In addition to the ecological park, the green space is an interactive space that connects the entire community life with a length of one kilometer. It is planned to build a natural landscape exhibition square. Trees and green grass are planted in the area to provide a place for nearby people to relax. The ecological ditch is built with pebbles and a green belt. It is a good place for community residents to take a leisurely walk. It is also an ideal place for children to play and ecological education. 新都生態公園是臺中市第一個以生態工法開闢的公園，佔地約2.5公頃，以生態工法結合 整體綠美化，引進八寶圳的河水，經淨化處理後，排入下游生態溝渠，並放養錦鯉魚，以作 為監測水質及觀賞之用，每到傍晚時分，就成為民眾散步遊憩的好地方。 新都生態公園湖面上設有石頭步道般的裝置藝術 除了生態公園之外，利用綠地串連整體社區生活的互動空間，長度達一公里，規劃興建自 然景觀的展演廣場，區內遍植樹木綠草如茵，提供附近民眾休閒活動之場所。生態溝渠用卵 石砌建搭配綠帶之人生步道，是社區居民悠閒散步的好地方，也是兒童嬉戲及生態教育的理 想地點。
