This has been a long time coming. I initially thought of hiding a cache here in August of last year, while out on a cache hiding walk in the area. I knew this would be the final cache in a series that can be recognized easily, and is indeed the last of twelve hides, although it has nothing to do with the Headwires series. (apart from being in the same area and having a sense of tranquility once you focus on the flow of the nearby stream) I knew exactly how I wanted this cache to be and have added some unique swag and trackables for added fun.
You'll be going into a ravine on the north end of this green space, which is a wooded and interesting area which I briefly tackled on that day. This is a large ammo can and a TB hotel and the only container thus far that I've purchased, making it untraditional for a DreamMachine cache. This cache may very well leave you exhausted, although like all caches, big and small, evil and easy, it's all in good fun. The exhaustion that comes from hides like these is typically balanced by some sense of adrenaline and adventure. Do be warned however, a dumpsite is near and trash is a very common sight around GZ.....including rusted metal. With regards to this cache just please be careful, and make sure you have your tetanus shots...
Please wear waterproof boots with some good traction, or some rubber boots, you may be going through a stream or a swampy area.
Also just make sure you're ready for slipping, as in wear some old clothes or some jeans, along with the basics like water or bug spray or gloves.
EDIT: December 31st, 2021 - The cache has been replaced with a container that's still large,but nowhere as large on the inside. However, numerous logs sicne this date have made it clear the ammunition canister is still present nearby.
