The bride and I really enjoy drives in the country. As most of us, when we drive by a cemetery we scramble to look at the GC app to see if there's a cache there. When there isn't I say, what a perfectly good cemetery with no cache. Well, we took care of that, at least for this one!
This isn't part of the original, "Old Stones Series" but it really made me think of it as there are a lot of very old stones here, hence the name. This is a very well taken care of cemetery just north of Central Square on RT. 11 that I felt really deserved a cache. Come visit and grab a quick smiley!
This is a simple 2 stage multi. The posted coords will bring you to the cemetery and also the flag pole. From there walk approximately 110 feet due east to a single heart shaped stone. Make note of Marks birth and death year.
Now add all the digits of the birth date and death date together. Take that number and add them to N 43 21.547 to get the final North coords.
Now take that same number and subtract them from W 076 09.134 to get the final West coords. Your all set now go find it! Your looking for very well camoed tube type cache that is winter accessible.
After you grab your smiley here head over to GC8748G only 8 minutes away!
Obviously please be respectful and only cache dawn to dusk. Thank You
