Για σχεδόν δώδεκα χρόνια, το σκυλί μας, η Ρέτζη, μας συνόδευε σε κάθε βήμα και, αφού ξεκινήσαμε το geocaching το 2014, ήταν μαζί μας για να βρούμε ή για να κρύβουμε σχεδόν όλων των geocache μας. Έχουμε να ζούμε χωρίς την παρέα της από την 1η Ιουλίου 2020. Μας λείπει!
Ακόμα τον Μάρτιο έθεσε εδώ για την εικόνα του spoiler. Αυτό το geocache προοριζόταν να είναι τμήμα μιας σειράς. Όμως, αποφασίσαμε τώρα να το αφιερώνουμε στη μνήμη του αγαπημένου μας σκύλου, της Ρέτζης. Αν ψάχνετε για κάποιο από τα cache μας κάπου και συμβουλευτείτε την εικόνα του spoiler για να το βρείτε, η Ρέτζη θα σας δείχνει την θέση του κουτιού.
Αυτό το Retzi-Memories-Cache απέχει λίγα μόλις βήματα από την εκκλησία "Παναγία Κερά", η οποία χρονολογείται από τον 13ο αιώνα και περιέχει καλά διατηρημένες και ανακαινισμένες βυζαντινές τοιχογραφίες. Λεπτομέρειες σχετικά με αυτήν την εξαιρετική εκκλησία μπορείτε να βρείτε στη wikipedia:

For almost twelve years, our dog Retzi accompanied us every step of the way and, after we started geocaching in 2014, she was with us for finding or hiding almost all our geocaches. It is not easy for us to come to terms with the fact that we have had to be without her since July 1, 2020.
Still in March she posed here for the spoiler picture. The cache was actually intended to be part of a series. But now we are dedicating it to the memory of our dear cache dog Retzi. If you are looking for one of our caches somewhere and consult the spoiler picture to find it, Retzi will guide you to the cache.
This Retzi-Memories-Cache is just a couple of steps from the church "Panagia Kera", which dates from the 13th century and contains well-preserved and restored Byzantine frescoes. Details about this extraordinary church can be found at wikipedia:

Fast zwölf Jahre begleitete uns unsere Retzi auf Schritt und Tritt und, nachdem wir 2014 mit Geocaching begonnen hatten, besuchte sie zusammen mit uns natürlich auch fast alle Geocaches, die wir fanden oder versteckten. Es ist nicht einfach für uns, uns damit abzufinden, dass wir seit dem 1. Juli 2020 ohne sie unterwegs sein müssen.
Noch im März posierte sie hier für das Spoiler-Bild. Der Cache war eigentlich für eine Serie vorgesehen. Doch jetzt widmen wir ihn dem Andenken an unseren lieben Cache-Dog Retzi. Wer irgendwo einen unserer Caches sucht und zum Finden das Spoiler-Bild zu Rate zieht, wird dort zielsicher von Retzi zur Dose geführt.
Dieser Retzi-Memories-Cache liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu der Kirche „Panagia Kera“, die aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammt und gut erhaltene und restaurierte byzantinische Fresken enthält. Details zu dieser aussergewöhnlichen Kirche findet Ihr bei wikipedia:
