Geocache Description:

This is another in the Women in History series, begun in NH by MAMD.   This one commemorates a local author by the name of Eleanor Emily Hodgman Porter, who is best known as the creator of Pollyanna.

You will not find the cache at the given coordinates.  However, you will find a statue of Pollyanna there, and if you go inside the building, you would find a copy of the children's book by Mrs. Porter that brought Pollyanna to life. If you have time, make sure you see the statue, and look for the "Be Glad" signs around Littleton.

To find the cache, you must read two articles on wikipedia; the short one here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanor_H._Porter and the longer one here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollyanna   From these two articles, you will find the answers to solve the below puzzle, and then you may go get the cache!

C.  Third digit of the year that Hayley Mills portrayal of Pollyanna premiered.

D. To the nearest million, how much did Mary Pickford's 1920 movie gross?

F. Last digit of the author's birth year

X Porter's Pollyanna is set in:  2) New Hampshire;  1) Vermont;  9) Prince Edward Island

The cache itself is big enough for some swag, trinkets, and even some tb exchange. BYOP. Should be reasonably winter friendly, depending. Night caching not recommended. Enjoy the views from the cache, including a nearby historic building. Parking can be difficult during some events. Like Glad Day.
