Geocache Description:

This geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but it is very close.

You will find a Regulatory sign at the posted coordinates. By gathering information at the sign, you'll be able to get the final coordinates.  The final is under a SPOR that is about five feet from a burned log.

Over the years, there have been a number of geocaches placed to bring people to "The Swimming Hole."  They keep going missing, but it really is "one of the places geocaching take you," so we will continue to set them.

After the Thomas Fire, a flash flood came through the area with water levels about seven feet high as estimated by debris left in the trees. This filled up the swimming hole.  In March 2020, the "Swimming Hole" still isn't very swimmable, but at least some of the rock and gravel material is being washed away.

The final is at: N34 27.ABC W119 17.DEF
