AddHam: We'll, it was our intention to only keep this out for a limited time and now that we're almost done getting our Halloween decorations out, this seemed like the perfect time. Plus, we need the outlet for Halloween lights.

Thank you all for the great compliments, the trips out of your way, and the smilies! We'll bring this back next summer or maybe every other year. Not sure yet. But now it's time to put it back in the garage. As soon as we make room for it again! Until then, the machine is still there but unplugged due to a cord issue.

Geocache Description:


Come over and have a cold pop this summer! (yes it's called pop, not soda. the title just sounded better with soda)

This cache is placed on private property with permission. You'll see the machine on the left side of the house.

The logsheet is where you think it is; it's IN the machine. Just operate the machine exactly how you think you would. Yes, you'll need 50¢ in coins. This is so the neighborhood kids don't drink us out of pop and water for the next 3 months. If you're thirsty, feel free to bring more change.

Once you have a can in hand, don't try to open it like normal. Just pull the whole top off and add your name. Once done, put the top back on and put the container in the recycling bin next to the machine. We'll refill the machine as needed but there are multiple containers inside.

The cache is only available during daylight hours and will be turned off at sunset. Feel free to post any pictures or spoilers in your log. Have fun with it. Also, smile, you're on camera for security reasons.

 Important note: If the gate is closed, we're home and the dog may be outside. His name is Cerberus (Cerb) and he'll for sure bark at you and jump on the fence (since you're on his property). If you don't feel comfortable with him, either come back later or come to the front door and we'll bring him inside.

Also, not all the cans have money in them, that was a limited thing for the first few finders.
