Starkacher: I confirmed that the container is gone as the area has been cleared of trees. I looked for the container among the debris and could not locate it.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Swanton Ohio! Many of the locals derogatorily refer to it as Swantucky Ohio.

This would be a great cache for Travel Bug exchanges for those geocachers traveling in/out of Toledo Express Airport (which is just East of this location). It is also convenient for those entering/exiting the Ohio Turnpike (not accessible while staying on the turnpike), or just those traveling down Airport Highway (State Route 2) between from Toledo and all points West.

This is a 50 cal ammo can, so it can hold most TBs (except really big ones) and lots of SWAG.

Please stay a safe distance away from the sewage leach ponds and machinery in the center of the back lot. Keep a close eye on pets and kids while near those areas.

Permission to place this cache has been given by the owner of the restaurant George Kyriakou (son of Charlie, the founder of the chain). The parking lot is often used by parents exchanging kids and other such activity, so someone poking around in the back property will not raise any concerns. Also, some of the staff (ie. my brother CrazyBob) knows it is here. (Update: As of early 2023, my brother no longer works here)

[The following was edited 2 years after publicaion. Originally stated was:] There is an FTF prize that is of greater value than any I have left previously (something with a high commodity value at this time). [FYI: it was a roll of toilet paper wrapped in an FTF wrapping paper. At the time there was a shortage of that item in the stores due to Covid-19 panic buying.]
