This is the 2nd Geocache in the Spirit Trail series. The Spirit Trail is a 7.3-mile path around the lake. The Trail offers a variety of surfaces and was designed with cyclists, walkers, and runners in mind. Maintenance comes almost entirely from volunteers. This particular part of the trail is quite lovely. It really immerses you in a beautiful forest setting. The paved path is quite lovely as well. However to find the cache you must off-road a bit.
There is no place to park. However, you could park at the local party store, Mugsys for a quick trip. Or take an adventure and walk the whole trail collecting the other geocaches along the way.
