This updated version of Goldilocks is located in Hudson’s Maple Grove Park. The only parking and the entrance is at the end of the Farnum Way cul-de-sac. Parking coordinates are provided. Dogs on leash OK. DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY.
We’ve all heard about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. On this multi-cache you are trying to find Papa Bear who is hiding somewhere in the woods in this nice park. First, at the posted coordinates you will find Goldilocks (a small container) who knows where Baby Bear (a micro sized container) is hiding. And of course Baby Bear is going to know where Mama is. And if you are lucky, Mama Bear (a small container) will point the direction to find great big Papa Bear. Please no swag, trackables or logs in the first 3 containers – don’t even open them. Of course the bears will be hiding in the woods, so dress appropriately for off trail hiking. The information provided at all stages will be the last 3 digits of the North and West coordinates.
The total loop trail here is about 1 mile long. Stay on the trail until you are close to the posted coordinates. All stages are just short hikes in the woods.
