Geocache Description:

Countries of the World in the ONF

Here is your chance to claim a country of the world while on an established (FR) – Forest Road/ Jeep trail in the Ocala National Forest.  You will obtain a smiley for finding this country, and sorry, no souvenir from Groundspeak.

All of the caches are placed along side of an established (FR) – Forest Road/ Jeep trail.  All caches were placed using a high clearance 4X4 vehicle.  DO NOT GET STUCK because the cell service is NOT always the best in the forest.  When traveling off road (not paved) in the Forest, start with a full tank of fuel, make sure you have a good spare tire that is inflated, you know how to change the tire, have extra water, snacks, food, first aid kit, do not travel alone if possible and with another vehicle when possible.  Let someone know what area you will be in, just in case the Search and Rescue needs to find and evacuate you if needed.

Remember to use caution, this is Florida and there is a long list of things for you to be aware of and you may have encountered or heard stories about most of them in the past.  Groundspeak, Inc. is not responsible or libel for any of your incidents or injuries while headed to a Geocache, while searching for a Geocache, or headed back after Geocaching in any way.

You will be searching for a unique container that may survive a fire? They are all placed on the ground in various locations.  They are all the same color.  After finding the first one, you will know what you are searching for.  There will be times you will find some caches several feet away from the posted GZ location because of many reasons beyond our control.  Clouds, Trees, Solar Flares, power lines, the movement of Magnetic North, the Navigation Satellites not recently calibrated, your GPSr not recently calibrated, someone did not place it back where they found it and the list goes on.

Have fun, be safe and happy hunting
