This Multi-Cache will take you to an area with a beautiful scenic view that my family and I love very much. Be prepared to walk or ride over a kilometer including hills.
Recommended parking is at the posted coordinates.
Stage 1 (Updated June 2023 to reflect the changes in the area)
When you arrive at the posted coordinates have a look around the general vicinity. You should be able to find:
- Emergency Marker Call ABC and quote MAN DEF (Marker is currently missing, however it says Call 000 and quote MAN120)
- Red fading sign above 'No Through Road' sign: G = Number of Letters in the last word on the sign (starts with the letter O)
Use these numbers to calculate the coordinates for Stage 2: S37 44.(G)(G+D+E)(F) E145 10.(D+G)(D)(E+E) - [Checksum S=31 E=22]
Stage 2
When you reach stage 2, you should be at a sign on a gate. From here you have a secret view of the river that we adore.
To find the cache, you will need to count the number of words on the sign, which will give you P.
Multiply P by the number of vowels on the sign to give you Q.
You will find the cache Q meters due north of the gate.
