Geocache Description:

Congratulations to Stick People on FTF!

The geocache is not at the posted coordinates. You must solve the puzzle below to find the coordinates.

If you aren't familiar with this kind of puzzle, you may want to try solving GC61BVX: (NSML02: a Micro Logic Tutorial) first, or try NSML08, another easy one.

You can get the coordinates by solving the following: The nine letters (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J) represent the digits 1 to 9. No two letters are equal.

Alice and Bob are two turtles. They start walking towards each other (Alice heading South and Bob heading North) at a distance of C meters apart. Alice is travelling at A meters an hour. Bob is travelling at B meters an hour. They meet after D hours.

Ernest and Florence are two more turtles. When Alice began walking South, Ernest and Florence were at the same place as Alice, with Ernest facing East and Florence facing west. When Alice begins her walk towards Bob, Ernest and Florence begin walking apart, Ernest travelling at E meters per hour and Florence travelling at F meters per hour. They are a distance G meters apart when Alice and Bob meet.

When Alice and Bob meet, the distance between them and Ernest is the same as the distance that Bob has just travelled.

Finally Hugh and Jacqueline are 2 fast turtles. They begin a race at the same time as Alice starts moving. When Alice and Bob meet, Hugh and Jacqueline have travelled farther than any of the 4 other turtles, and Jacqueline has travelled the farthest of all. Hugh has travelled H meters and Jacqueline has travelled J meters.

To confirm your solution and get the cache coordinates, use the checker below. Enter the 9 letters from smallest to largest. For example if A = 2, B = 1, C = 3, D = 4, E = 5, F = 6, G = 7, H = 8, J = 9 you would enter BACDEFGHJ .

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Now go get it!
