This trail is part of the Michigan Shore to Shore riding and hiking trail that runs from Empire to the east side of the State.
It is approximatley 2.1 miles in a straight line from Fowler road on the south to to Garey Lake Trail Camp on the north.
The terrain is varied with a couple of fairly steep hills and a walk along the top of a ridge that overlooks a lake to the east.
Of course, being an active horse trail there may be other "terrain features" you may want to avoid.
I have wanted to make a Geocache trail for awhile now and Papa Waytag and Uncle Loumiester agreed to help with this one.
