With the COVID-19 pandemic taking up all of the news, the 2020 election that occurs in November seems largely to have been forgotten. If we haven't come up with a possible vaccine or treatment prior to November, and social distancing requirements are still in place, it may be one of the strangest elections and election procedures we have ever seen. In the early stages of the pandemic, the people of the country are seeming to come together to help in a way not seen since 9/11. Unfortunately, on the political side, the divide and diviseness seems to be growing quickly. Whatever the outcome may be in November, I am sure that more than half the country will be upset by the outcome, resulting in a larger divide, and an increase in negativity.
