Geocache Description:

High Prairie Cemetery is also known as the McCabe Cemetery and the Muddy Creek Cemetery.  It is located in Rock Creek Township in Butler County, Kansas.  At the entrance there is a sign as part of the flag pole.  It reads:

High Prairie Cemetery

founded 1879

Resting Place of Pioneers

The land was settled by J. S. McCabe.  His first wife Mary is buried here.  Mary C. McCabe was born September 7, 1863.  She died June 2, 1884. J. S. McCabe founded the McCabe Cemetery in 1879.  Back then it was called the McCabe Cemetery and in 1939 it became known as the High Prairie Cemetery.

You are looking for a scuba style bison tube.  It is log only so bring a pen.  Please be respectful and place cache back where you found it.

If you like old cemeteries you will like this one.  There are a lot of 1800's and early 1900's graves here.
