This cache has been placed to honor Rush, my black lab who has been with me since I started this geocaching adventure. He has followed me high and low, through thick and thin, over through and under many rocks, trees and bushes, without any complaints. I only wish he could sniff out more caches, but he is always to busy sniffing other things and patroling the area.
Rush also wanted some input into this cache. He required that it be a challenge related to all his fellow dogs. That it had to have some elements of black. That it be located at his level. Some sort of romp or trek through the woods be necessary. And that it had to be close to home so he could visit or watch those who come to seek it out.
