Our seven year old sister recently found out what geocaching was and immediately wanted to go out and place one. With our help, she made one out of an old pill bottle and off we went. she wanted to place it in the woods near a local pond. There used to be a nice dock to sit on but it has since been destroyed.
Once you see the old dock it is about 100-150 feet off the trail. Unfortunately, it does require bushwacking. Thorns all around and it can get quite swampy after a good rain so plan accordingly. She left a few items inside for those that find.
