PLEASE NOTE: Do not go in the ravine/stream and stay to the East of it. I am adding the coordinates from my Garmin which is accurate to 21ft. N 41 38.125 W 072 08.166 Due to the nature of the area, it is tough to get a good read here.
"As long as I live, I'll hear
waterfalls and birds and winds
sing. I'll interpret the rocks, learn
the language of the flood, storm, and
the avalanche. I'll acquaint myelf
with the glaciers and wild
gardens, and get as near the heart
of the world as I can." John Muir
You can access this cache in two ways. The first is to begin at the Bailey's Ravine trailhead and follow the white blaze trail. If you go that way, the preferred way in my opinion, remember to stop along the way. Listen to the trees talking to you as they blow in the breeze. Listen to the roar of water gushing over rocks after heavy rains or the light trickle during the dryer days of summer. Study the rocks, trees, and overall terrain while you take breaks along the way. Bailey's Ravine is one of my all time favorite places to hike, and I hope you enjoy it too.
*Due to the rocks and trees, it is very challenging to get good close coordinates out here. Hopefully the coordinates get you close.
When I was out today with some other cachers looking for this cache, I grabbed these "my location" coordinates from my phone. N 041 38.130 W 072 08.151. According to my phone, I was 37 feet away from the posted coordinates. Perhaps this will help you locate the CC.
