A resurrection of the former Sawblade Falls geocache by Maya Bee that was archived in 2018.
I visited the falls recently, and remembered the geocache that had been here. It would be a shame for people to miss visiting these falls just because they're not aware of them. I didn't know about them until I went looking for the geocache that was here. Thank you Maya Bee for leading me here! The falls are really quite amazing to see! This cache brings you to the base of the falls.
The terrain rating to Sawblade Falls is a little higher due to elevation gain and a steep hike down to the base of the falls. Watch your footing here, especially when it's wet. Though tricky, it's not particularly dangerous to come here and the geocache is hidden in a spot that is safe to access.
Winter access is a bit more difficult, but the area is generally snow-free from late March to early November.
There are a few different ways to get to the falls but basically Sawblade Falls Trail comes off Upper Loop Trail, which forks off Woodland Walk Trail. Follow the signs and orange flagging tape.

Sawblade Falls may have been named after an old sawblade at the top end of the trail that says "sawblade, please ride, don't slide". You can find it at the listed waypoint.
