Geocache Description:

This cache explores an urban landscape in Southwest Medford and how natural systems are used with man made systems to improve water quality and run off.  The stormwater wetlands located in this area help to treat runoff from the rooftops, driveways, and local roads.  Bonus points for finding the manholes labeled with "Downstream Defender" and "Stormwater Quality Unit".  This is designed to be a fun little family excursion, especially as we look for things to do locally and in our neighborhoods.  Parking is available on the street.
