This is likely your very last opportunity to get a Community Celebration Event Icon
Everyone likes to set New Years Resolutions and Goals. In the spirit of New Years 2023 North Central Indiana Geocachers want to promote setting your Geocaching Resolutions/goals.
Everyone has Geocaching Goals, what are your 2022 Goals? Will you try to get 1000 caches this year, or do you want to fill your calendar or Fizzy Grid. What about caching all 92 Indiana counties, or maybe you just want to get a cache a month. Its possible you would like to cache with 5 new people this year. or what if your goal is to attend one event this year, or just maybe you're one who doesn't set goals, Well no matter what you personal goal is this event is for everyone!
If you want goals for the year, and have ideas for them, great, bring them along, if not, we will help you out. If you don't know what you want your goals to be, come to the event anyway, let everyone help you set some. There may even be a bucket with goals you can draw out of with such goals as "attend one event a month" "Find 5 more 2000 caches" "find caches in 5 new states or provinces" "increase your multi-cache numbers 10%" or "find 100 caches or more in a month in 6 months of 2022" if you want to be risky setting them.
All Goals will be written down on a card and placed in a Time Capsule Ammo Can that will be opened at the 2024 event. Everyone that completed their goals for 2022 and attends this event will receive a prize
If you didn't attend and set goals last year, PLEASE come set goals this year. Everyone who sets goals this year will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
Please feel free to bring TBs or coins to pass along or to be discovered, and feel free to bring circular disks with holes to trade.
New cachers are especially welcome to join us. Feel free to pick the minds of the seasoned veterans in the area, who are all full of great tips and hints on geocaching in general or on any caches in the area that you might be having a little trouble with.
The North Central Geocachers goal is to promote geocaching in St Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall and Kosciusko Counties in Indiana, and around the world. You DEFINITELY do not need to live in one of those counties to participate or attend one of these events. If you are interested in hosting an event for the NCINGeo please contact me.
