What! I hear you say - a Dingmiller trad cache? Better than that, a series of six with just one mystery cache to finish although that shouldn't be difficult as all you have to do is collect the required info from the previous six.
During the period of lockdown I rediscovered what I think is a delightful walk we used to do regularly when we had a dog - see Skipper's Delight GC2AFVF - and thought it would be good to share this now we can all move more freely again. The whole walk is circular from the suggested parking and is no more than 2.5 miles on roads, tracks and paths. Parts can be muddy after rain and as it involves crossing the A68 twice with limited visibility great care should be taken, particularly with youngsters and dogs. There are stiles so sadly the complete walk isn't practical for wheelchair users but the more adventurous buggyhandlers might cope.
From the suggested parking go uphill (past In Plain View? GC5A2RH and Agricola wuz 'ere? GC21YAK) to enjoy the view the Romans would have had on their way from Eboracum to Corstopitum.
