There is a trail just past the given parking coordinates that follows the river. There is only room for a couple of cars to park so I hope your lucky. This is on National Forest Land.
We got to the water and noticed some river otters frolicing below. Later on in the hike two bald eagles were doing their thing high above.
This hide is too far away for a river cache. Please continue on to" Spring into the Dechutes River" cache just down the trail. There is some better water access for the dogs down stream.
