V bližini Gore pri Komendi leži skakalnica, kjer vsako leto v februarju poteka tekmovanje v skokih z alpskimi smučmi. V zadnjih 20-tih letih tekmovanje še ni odpadlo. Za to so zaslužni krajani ter pravi snežni top. V kratkem bodo skakalnico močno posodobili, da bo na njej možno varno leteti 260 decimetrov.
