This is one in a series of well-camouflaged caches hidden in Freedom Lake Park. Surrounding two lakes, this park offers a fitness area, picnic spots, playgrounds, walking trails, and a dog park. There is ample parking available. On your search you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of local wildlife, including squirrels, ducks, osprey, and perhaps a bald eagle. The park is also popular with RC boat enthusiasts, and be sure not to miss the Korean War Memorial and the F-16 Fighter jet on display.
Since the park grounds are well maintained, there are few wild places to hide a large cache. By necessity these caches are small and well-camouflaged to fit in to their environment. Please bring your own pen to sign the log and obey all posted notices regarding park rules and regulations.
