The cache is placed within 10 feet of the trail according to park rules to prevent damage to the natural setting. No need to go past the mowed grass. This is a camo covered bison tube hanging about waist high on a branch reaching towards the path.
Bring your own writing instrument and maybe tweezers as a signature on the log is required to claim the find. Please be careful to not catch the log in the threads of the container when closing it. Watch out for muggles. If anyone see you, just explain what you are doing, the park supports geocaching. Take the All Persons Paved Trail from the parking lot.
The park is open from 8 a.m. to dusk, so no night caching. Hubbard Valley Park has hiking and nature trails, picnic areas with a pavilion, a playground, a sledding hill and a lake for fishing.
