Geocache Description:

This is a field puzzle in Hubbard Valley Park. You need to gather information from a sign and plaques located at the posted coordinates. The sign entitled "The Chippewa Subdistrict" tells, in part, how this park was created.

Hubbard Valley is part of the Medina County Park District. The park has varied trails, a lake for fishing, a picnic pavillion and a sledding hill. There should not be any bushwhacking needed to get to the final cache container. Mud, roots and elevation changes can be expected on some of the trails.

The cache is located at N 41 02.AB W 081 5C.DE7

The information sign states that "In 19A6, local residents and organizations began meeting to dicuss potential solutions to the problem."

In 1969 flooding from a three day storm on Fourth of July weekend caused $B million in damage in Wayne County.

is the number of sites of the Chippewa Subdistrict project that are open to the public, based on the information sign.

D is the last numeric digit on the left metal plaque.

The left plaque states that the FLOOD WATER RETARDING STORAGE is 6E6 ACRE FT.
