As I parked, to go up the trail, a couple passing told me that a bear had been spotted nearby. I thanked them & continued on , cautiously, to find a hiding spot. After placing the cache , while being assualted by bugs, I pulled up the hood on my black hoodie. As I emerged from the bush , dressed in black from head to toe, I heard a scream & frenzied dog barking only to look and see it was directed at me. I shouted " I'm not a bear" which made the lady, then me laugh really hard. It was a fun hide.
