The day we placed this cache was the first time we had been outside the city limits for four weeks. The first half of that we didn't leave the house because we were self isolating. The last two weeks didn't see us venture much further than the weekly expedition for groceries. A stretch of below normal temperatures also was a factor. Today, with a balmy 7C showing on the thermometer, we ventured out for a little country geocaching. The antidote for our mild cabin fever lay to the north east where Prairie Chicken had placed a bunch of hides for the winter caching games. We found just enough to satisfy our caching urge, and even found a spot to leave one of our own. We left quite a few for another day, but it sure was good to get out and about once again.
