Geocache Description:

We are placing a trail of geocaches in Lapeer and St Clair counties so let's get out in the countryside and enjoy the gravel back roads of Michigan. The terrain rating at 2 is the average. The terrain will be from 1.5 to 3 and there may be a ditch to cross or a hill to scale. Happy geocaching. According to HildaMae Bowman's "Almont, The Tale of Then and Now," Almont's name was changed in 1845 to honor the Mexican general, Juan Almonte.
