Tampereen Irjalassa on vanha makasiini, jonka isäntä Kaarle Kustaa Irjala rakensi 1890-luvulla viljamakasiiniksi Irjalan kartanon pihapiiriin. Makasiini on kunnostettu alueen asukkaiden talkootyönä vuonna 1988. Siitä lähtien makasiini on toiminut alueen tapahtuma-, kokous- ja juhlapaikkana. Esim. tällä hetkellä makasiinilla jumpataan, pidetään iltapäiväkerhoa ja eri teemaisia asukasiltoja.
Mikäli makasiinilla on kätkölle tullesasi juhlia, niin ethän häiritse juhlaväkeä. Kätkö ei ole makasiinin pihassa eli pihaan ei tarvitse mennä. Kätköön on Irjalan omakotiyhdistyksen lupa (hallinnoi makasiinia).
There is an old warehouse in Irjala, Tampere, which was built by the master Kaarle Kustaa Irjala in the 1890s as a grain warehouse in the courtyard of Irjala Manor. The warehouse (later the Magazine)was renovated by the residents of the area in 1988. Since then, the Magazine has served as a venue for events, meetings and celebrations.
