This is one of a series of 15 caches in the Horton Grove Nature Preserve that Lilyfrog04 and I placed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Horton Grove Nature Preserve is owned by the Triangle Land Conservancy which has granted permission for this cache.
This cache is near the Walker trail. To access the Walker trail, follow the Peaks Loop trail which begins across the road and just north of the Horton Grove parking lot off of Jock Road. A map of the preserve and its trails can be found here: Horton Grove Map
Please park only in the designated lot and observe social distancing guidelines while in the preserve so that this wonderful resource can remain open during the pandemic.
The GPS readings in this area were very inconsistent for me. I have bumped up the difficulty by a half point because of that. If you can't find it where your device is pointing, expand the search area and check the hint. The cache is an ammo box.
