The new addition of this segment of the Violet Crown Trail attaching to the beloved Barton Creek Greenbelt came to be in 2014. Soon, the Violet Crown Trail will be the longest trail of its kind in Central Texas, at over 30 miles. It will connect urban wildlands of the Barton Creek Wilderness Park, the City of Sunset Valley, and eventually follow into Hays County. Break out a sweat and hike up from the Barton Creek Greenbelt or park and make it a short walk! There is no right way to explore this area and find the cache! Bring your own pen or pencil, as the cache is too small to hold one!
