I have long wanted to place a cache here at Lamplighter Pond. Lovely park and pond. Imagine my Joy when I discovered it's proximity to 1600 Pennsylvania ! Not that White House but a white house none the less! It is "very near to" --in the shadow of 1600 Pennsylvania.
Not on private property, west of the path. And like some residents of that White House----look for a piece of wood! Park hours are sunrise to sunset.
