About this Cache.

This is a night cache - there is NO container at the listed coords, but those are good for parking. Even if the gate is open, park at the posted coords as there is no room to park closer to the cache without blocking the gameland road.

From parking, hike up the game land road to the provided trailhead coordinates. THERE WILL BE NO FIRE TACKS LEADING THE WAY ALONG THE GAME ROAD. At the trailhead coordinates, shine your light to the right and you should see the first tack to start your journey. NOTE: There is a small drainage ditch on the side of the game land road and a short steep bank that you must navigate. Watch your step!

Follow the single tacks. The cache is hidden at the tree with the group of three tacks. Some tacks will be high, some low and some in between. They are brown and specifically designed to be visible at night, but not during the day. They DO NOT lead you in a straight line. Usually, only the next tack is visible, but sometimes you might be able to see the next two.

Make sure you have a powerful flashlight, not only to pick up the next tack, but you will be bushwhacking after you leave the game land road. Although the forest has little undergrowth at this location, there are still rocks, fallen branches and holes that you will want to avoid.

Be sure to read the entire cache page, including the attributes and pictures in the description so that you can be best prepared.

Have fun and enjoy your spooky, nighttime adventure.

A special thank you to Mattress Gnome for supplying an unactivated TB for the FTF and for helping me set up the cache.

CONGRATULATIONS to e.r.h and juan2jam on their joint FTF!
