Covid-19 Crazy #4 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Oma & Opa G: We got out to check on this cache and Opa G couldn't find it. The area is very overgrown but we had placed it between two stones and the cache was not there. It would have gotten less and less accesible as the season progresses and our health interferes with scrambling around the area and cleaning it up so rather than replace it, we are archiving it. It's been a good run. Thanks to all who came out to find it and to those who reported problems.

Geocache Description:

Cooped up? Need a place to walk that is social distance friendly? Here's our 4th cache to come to your rescue! We decided to find a safe place to put out a few new caches that would encourage walking in the out-of-doors. Skagit Port Trails are wide and flat and provide a great walking or biking experience. These caches are not meant to be difficult, just fun, entertaining, fresh and draw you outside. This cache is too small for a pencil so please bring your own writing implement. Do watch for muggles as you search and log and return the cache carefully to its exact location. Special information for this cache, and the reason for the 2 on the terrain, is that you do need to step across a small ditch or enter above the ditch further down. Do this with care.

We’re hoping other cachers will follow our lead and put out some new caches in our neck of the woods where we can safely and legally walk. We encourage you to add to our series!
