Parking and trailheads: Please only park at designated parking areas and do not drive down service roads. Parking on the side of park roads can get you a ticket from the rangers (I have have proof). Listed are the closest Lakeview trail trailhead and parking coordinates in the waypoints. There is a closer parking lot where the trail crosses the pavillion road at the ball field. You may park there if the ball field is not being used.
The Lakeview Trail is the longest hiking trail in Stockton State Park. The Trail is a loop trail with a total hike of 8 miles with an estimated time of 6 hours. Thers a connector trail to shorten the hike halfway through the trail near the park office. There is also a .3 spur trail that gives hikers easy foot access to the campgrounds. The Trail connects with The Umber Ridge Trail 200' from this cache location. The Umber ridge and Lakeview run together for a little more than a mile.
This trail is open Sunrise to Sunset. Please park in approved areas only and stick to the trail as much as possible.
