Geotaxis are not yellow vehicles that take us to the starting point of our geo-hikes. Instead, geotaxis is motion in response to gravity. For example, that you fall on the floor if you roll out of bed. Most commonly, geotaxis involves flying organisms such as insects. Negative geotaxis is moving away from the earth and positive geotaxis is moving toward the earth. Studies of flies have shown that their geotaxis can be affected by the geomagnetic field.
The small cache container here is attached to a yellow non-organism experiencing negative geotaxis. Caches here are often muggled. Hopefully I found a good spot for it. Bring your own pen and be stealthy.
