Geocache Description:


This is a quick park and grab. You should be able to park right next to the cache. One of these days I will hide one where you can park, reach out the window and grab, but not this one. LOL

Continue down the hill and across the railroad tracks and you will arrive at the old matanuska townsite. This is where the old-timers first settled and created the original townsite. Winters were harsh back then and eventually, the town failed.
