The Cache itself is a Nano AND sticks out of the hole about1/4" or so??. The cache is actually hidden across the road from a parking area. (about 35-40 feet distance from parking area). The nano is placed in a choice of several drilled holes that in the 4 X 4's. The Iowa State roads workers places signs up/down both sides of poles holding the sign. The cache is about head high & placed in one of the holes that holds up a sign.
We do not recommend for any small children or we also do not recommend anyone in a wheel chair, etc. to go looking for this Cache. From the parking area, they will have to walk across a country black-top road. (Some cars don't believe in YOUR SAFETY). 
WATCH FOR TRAFFIC FROM BOTH DIRECTIONS!!!
NOTE: On the East side of the 4 X 4's sign, on the ground, there is a broken off steel post 2" X 2" square steel that is bent over and some sharp areas on the end. It sticks out of the ground about 10"-12" in length and bent over about 6"-8" off the ground. EVERYONE, BE CAREFUL!!!
