I have never quite understood the FTF hounds. For me geocaching has primarily been motivation to go out for a decent walk, in a variety of locations.
Going out in the rain, during the night or whilst the rest of the family are having dinner to bag a FTF is beyond my comprehension.
And yet, there is a slight thrill involved in being there first.
This cache, a film canister, I hope will encourage all those with a FTF story to recount details on the cache page. How far did you go?
My first and furthest from home was GC3MV4A in Cheltenham found way back in 2012 whilst I was there visiting my old Mum. It had been published for 11 days, missed by both AmayaTom and thehumdingers, both prolific cachers. Finding it did give me that thrill. This is 70.2 miles from home as the crow flies
I am sure someone can better that. Lets read your stories.
