Geocache Description:

Almost a year has passed since I said goodbye to a generous, caring, loving friend.  Chip was a Chocolate Laborador Retriever who loved to play fetch, go for walks, and generally hang around with his family.  He had a huge heart and a love for his family that was replicated in kind.

Yes, he was an incredible dog, but like any great dog he had his quirks.  For one, he didn't like riding in the car, even if it meant going to his Grammie and Paw Paw's house where my dad would throw a ball until his arm hurt, then switch to the other arm.  Another was, despite his love of long walks, he was afraid of bridges.  On one camping trip I practically had to carry him across a bridge because he all but refused to step foot on it.  With that in mind, this spot just seemed a fitting tribute.
