Geocache Description:

Park at N 37° 23.775 W 093° 31.736. The Frisco Highline Trail is only open during daylight hours.

This cache is the last in a series of three caches that I placed today based on expressions I have heard during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic: "Stay Safe", "Social Distancing", and "Flattening the Curve".

According to Wikipedia: "'Flattening the curve' is a public health strategy introduced during the 2019–20 COVID-19 pandemic. The curve being flattened is the epidemic curve, a visual representation of the number of infected people needing health care over time. During an epidemic, a health care system can break down when the number of people infected exceeds the capability of the health care system to take care of them. Flattening the curve means slowing the spread of the epidemic so that the peak number of people requiring care at a time is reduced, and the health care system is not overwhelmed. Flattening the curve relies on mitigation techniques such as social distancing."

So hopefully the "curve" will be "flattened" very soon so we can get back to normal routines (like getting a haircut--my hair has never been this long).

Since this is one of the longest stretches of the FHT south of Walnut Grove where there isn't a safe spot to park, it will be around .75 of a mile from the posted parking coordinates to GZ. The cache is very close to the highway, but I don't recommend parking on the highway.

You will need to walk down a slight embankment and do some minor bushwhacking to get to the cache. Watch out for the normal hazards in the woods, especially in the warmer months.

You are looking for a silver micro canister. Please do not remove the cache from the host. You can unscrew the lid to get to the logbook.

Good luck and have fun!
