This is a micro cache outside Buckhurst Hill Library. This beautiful building which contains our library was built in 1866 as a Baptist Church. Later it was used as a public hall and then converted into a library at some point in the 1940s. It has played a vital role in the community for many years! The library was threatened with closure recently by the local council, but a concerted effort by the whole community, including petitions with hundreds of names saved it for the time being. Please bring your own pen or pencil for signing the log book.
