Well, shiver me timbers and sharpen me sword!
After a voyage filled with pillaging and plundering, the Jaded Jewel–a pirate ship captained by Redbeard, an old but dangerous pirate–is docked in a cove near Port Royal. As the pirates head into town to celebrate their homecoming and spend their gold and goods, a night of turmoil and trouble is sure to transpire.
As the night quickly steers out of control, one guest meets a tragic demise and ends up in Davy Jones’ Locker leaving the rest of the party goers to bring the guilty to the gallows.
Is the culprit the profiteering pirate organizing a mutiny? Or, the saucy sea mistress who wanted more than a casual commitment? The perpetrator could be the swashbuckling swordsman desperate to win the love of the governor’s
daughter, or possibly the treasure seeking seaperson incapable of sharing.
In a harbor village filled with backstabbers and buccaneers looking to get ahead, there is little reward for honesty and a high price to pay for deceit.
- Come dressed in your best Pirate Themed Costumes* to participate in an interactive pirate themed Murder Mystery game!
- This event is friendly towards all ages - it is a Halloween themed Community Celebration Event that will include a clean, pirate themed Murder Mystery activity. The "Murder" will not involve an actual body or blood - nothing that kids could not see.
- When you log your Will Attend (as a positive will be there and will be participating log), we will send you information on a random character for you to play.
- Be sure to log your "Will Attend" early to become a specific player if you want the best experience from this interactive game!! Deadline to be assigned a specific character is October 14th, 2022.
- If you just aren't sure that you can make it, but decide at the last minute that you can attend, you will still be able to fully participate as an Investigator!!
- ** Note: You do NOT need to participate in any of the activities to attend this event! **
- EVERYONE - Characters, Investigators, AND non-participating attendees are free to participate in the costume and snack contests, or just come and say hi!
** Costume Clarification: Pirate Costumes are recommended and encouraged, but you can come to this event in any Halloween Costume you choose! The Murder Mystery is pirate themed so if you are participating in that and wish to stay in character, you will need pirate costumes. If you are participating as an investigator (or you do not wish to dress in character), you can dress as anything you wish ~ including not being dressed up in a Halloween Costume! There will be two Costume Contests: (1) Best Pirate Costume and (2) Best General Halloween Costume. Those dressed as pirates are free to be entered into both costume contests. Those dressed as anything other than a pirate will be entered into the general Halloween contest only.**
So come, get dressed up, bring homemade Halloween themed snacks, win prizes, eat yummy snacks, visit, solve a murder mystery AND HAVE FUN!!
Event Time: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Or whenever people feel like leaving. LOL!)

What to Bring: (1) A homemade Halloween themed snack to share (2) We have enough seating for 18-22, but if we have more attendees than that, you may need to bring a camp chair (3) A drink for yourself if you'd like something specific (4) A smile of course!! 🙂
