You are invited to a Community Celebration Event at Hemlock Lake State Park. Come out and say hello to your geocaching friends as well as have the opportunity to meet some geocachers you have not met before. I will be supplying bottled water and some snacks. Feel free to bring something to share if you would like, however it is not required. There is a little free library nearby so you may want to bring a book to trade :) Parking is located nearby.
The event will be held from 9am to 11am. Posted coords are near the pavilion and gazebo which are not able to rented are are on a first come first serve basis. In the event someone else gets there first and is using the whole pavilion and gazebo, I will have a 10 x 10 canopy and a table to set up nearby as a backup plan. You may want to bring a chair just in case. I will also be bringing the very nice geocaching cornhole game set that I won in an event raffle. Feel free to bring other games such as bocce or croquet.
For those who like to kayak, canoe, paddleboard, there are T5 caches on both Hemlock Lake and Canadice Lake.
Dogs are allowed but must be leashed according to park rules. The park is a carry-in, carry-out park and there are no trash cans. Please be courteous and log your will attend in advance so I know how many people to plan for. Thank you!
