Community Celebration Events - 2020

This year has been really tough when it comes to events and getting together, as a geocaching family. Many events have been cancelled, but not Halloween. Come out to this family themed event. Here is the breakdown;
Event start: 630pm
6:30pm to 7:30pm will be the trunk n Treat
7:30pm to 8:30pm (and beyond)a geocaching meet and great ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TRUNK N TREAT
This is open to all who want to participate. Volunteers will decorate the trunks of there car and park in a well lit area so our tiny ghosts and goblins can safely go from car to car gathering sweets. Reservations are open to the first 30 to RSVP by posting your WILL ATTEND. Please note if you want to be involved in the trunk n treat or just the meet n eat in your WILL ATTEND. There will be a decorating contest, as well as best costume, judged by those attending. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated and best costume. There will be no power hookups so any decorations or music played will be controlled through your vehicle. Cars should be in place no later than 6:30pm and plan to stay the entire hour for safety. Prizes will be drawn promptly at 7:25pm.
MEET N GREAT
Outdoor space available with an outdoor bar and restaurant. Games and fire pits around for atmosphere and warmth. Covered seating available outside to keep the conversation contained. If weather is to rough, an indoor community room is available. I know we all have our stories to tell, and new cachers to meet. Bring you trackables and pathtags to share and trade. Just remember though, it's scary leaving a trackable all alone in the cold.
This is a family friendly event. During this climate, we ask you to use common sense when it comes to COVID. Social distancing will be practiced with vehicles and masks (covering the mouth and nose) are required per land owners stipulations.
