The event is a classic, tried and tested, 2 hours in a pub, that serves good beer and cheap food. I should have done something amazing, but I've sat on this event for far too long! However, I hope to get my hands on a little pub game that requires little skill and plenty of luck, so everyone can take part. I will put up an unactivated geocoin for the winner.

I placed my first cache after finding 17 caches and having only been caching for 1 month. Since then, it's gone a bit silly!
I like to place caches in national series' and have concentrated largely, but not exclusively. on that. Also, with just 3 exceptions (Nottinghamshire Extremes), all my caches are placed within a 15 mile radius of my house.

This is a bit of an iconic pub in Newark. If you've never been, this could be the perfect excuse for your first visit! There is plenty of parking on The Wharf, right in front of the pub. Dependant on numbers attending, we will either be upstairs at the pub or downstairs below deck. I will update the listing nearer the time with this information.
